Everything You Need to Know About Ready Up Web Design Services

  • Our subscription plan lasts a minimum of 6 months and continues month-to-month after that. You can cancel anytime after the initial period. While active, your website is fully managed, secure, and updated regularly. Design files remain proprietary, ensuring fast, reliable updates. If you cancel, the website will no longer remain live, but we can consult with the transition away from our awesome services.

  • You just have to sign a new 6 month contract.

  • If you cancel before the 12 months, you owe the full cost of what the site would normally cost lump sum minus whatever you already paid. We prioritize long term relationships with our clients. And we want clients to share the same philosophy.

  • All invoices include a 7-day grace period. Invoices not paid within 7 days will incur a $25 late fee. For subscription clients, if multiple monthly invoices remain overdue and unpaid for an extended period, we reserve the right to cancel the contract. In such cases, the client will be responsible for the full cost of the website.

We strive to be flexible and understanding in exceptional circumstances and often provide assistance when needed. However, consistent communication is essential—if we do not receive responses to our messages, we must take necessary steps to protect our time, effort, and the services we provide.

  • We send email invoices via Square or Stripe that has a link to a secure page for adding payment info. Subscriptions are paid with a credit card or debit card and we accept all major credit cards. Lump sum projects are paid with ACH bank transfer to minimize processing fees. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS

  • When you sign a contract, either lump sum or subscription, if we cannot design something you are 100% happy with and no longer want to move forward, then we will refund whatever you paid to get started. If we do end up moving forward with building the site, there are no refunds after that point. From then on, refunds are at our discretion.

  • Yes, subscriptions are indefinite. You keep paying every month after the 12 month minimum. It generally takes us 2-3 years to make what we would have made if we sold a lump sum site. So ideally we'd like to have clients last at least 5 years to make getting paid over that period of time worth the wait and financially viable. And at that point, the website will be generating more than $150 a month in value for the client, so the site will essentially be paying for itself at that point and we hope our clients continue to see the value in the work we do to keep paying every month so we can continue to do what we do.

  • There is no buyout price to end the monthly subscription early. Our subscription model is designed to provide consistent, high-quality service over time. Financially, it typically takes 2–3 years—including hosting fees—for the subscription to match what we would earn from a one-time site purchase.

Subscriptions are most effective for clients who stay with us for 5+ years, allowing us to maintain a reliable, sustainable business model. This predictable monthly income lets us dedicate more time to supporting our clients, making updates, and providing hands-on service—rather than constantly needing to sell new projects just to cover expenses.

If clients could buy out their subscriptions at any time, we'd need to take on more work to replace that income, which would reduce the time and attention we can give each client. Our subscription approach ensures your website gets ongoing care and support, giving you a worry-free experience that no one-off purchase can match.

  • Yes! We offer a $50/month subscription add-on for unlimited edits and support. This plan requires a 12-month minimum commitment. It's not something you can toggle on and off month-to-month—once the subscription ends, reinstating it requires starting a new 12-month commitment.

  • The main difference is long-term versus short-term costs: Subscription: You pay a manageable monthly fee. Over time, this may cost more, but it spreads the expense out and includes ongoing support, updates, and maintenance.

Lump-sum: You pay everything upfront. This is cheaper in the long run but requires a larger initial investment. It's ideal if you don't need monthly services and want to own the site outright.

Choosing the best option depends on your cash flow and priorities. If you want convenience, support, and manageable payments, subscription is best. If you prefer to pay once and save over time, lump-sum is the way to go.

  • Yes and no. SEO has two parts: On-page and Off-page. On-page SEO includes things on your site like content, load times, accessibility, meta tags, and site structure. Our packages cover on-page basics such as fast load times, accessibility, meta tags, sitemap generation, and some content creation.

Off-page SEO involves activities outside your website, like link building, citations, and guest posting.

SEO is an ongoing process, and our SEO partner, Adam Gingery, handles professional SEO services separately from our website packages. If you're interested, we can connect you with Adam to discuss his work, plans, and pricing.

  • Yes, you will always own your domain. We never take hostages!

  • We typically complete a website within 2 weeks, depending on how quickly clients provide content, images, and feedback, as well as our designers' and developers' availability. Most projects are finished in about 2-3 weeks, but timelines can vary slightly from project to project.

  • If you cancel, the website itself will no longer remain live, but you retain ownership of your domain and any assets you provided. This policy ensures we can continue offering high-quality service and support to all our clients.

  • Yes. We don't take hostages. Even if we bought the domain for you, when you cancel your subscription with us we transfer the domain to you.

  • Nope! Everything we make is built with custom hand written code. No page builders here. That is what separates us from the others - we put the time and effort to do things differently and it shows in our work and our clients online presence after launch.

  • Security, load times, maintainability, lower costs, easier to customize, less bloat because we don't need plugins for everything, we never need to update anything like you need to constantly update your Wordpress version otherwise you get hacked and your site redirects to a Chinese gambling site, and we're more responsive. To go into more detail about security, our custom coded sites have no databases or anything so there's nothing to hack. Our sites are more secure without needing constant updates to be on top of or constant attacks from online hackers trying to barge in. Theres nowhere for them to barge into on our sites no matter how hard they try.

  • Yes. In the unlikely event that something happens to the owner/operator, Ready Up Web Designs has established development partners in the U.S. who are fully trained in our systems, workflows, and standards. They have access to all necessary tools and accounts to ensure uninterrupted service. We maintain a clear succession plan so your website and support are never dependent on a single individual.
